“Not limited to kitchen use! Not everything needs to be in airtight containers, and these are great for those items. The larger size containers have a drip tray so any moisture will collect under the food items; the smallest ones do not have this feature. They are stackable and with the removable lids and drainage trays can be used for anything from food to office supplies to kids’ toys. The lids fit well, but not super-tight. I was able to get 1.5 lbs of grapes in the long bin. While they aren’t airtight or microwave/dishwasher safe, they are described as such and I’m finding many uses for them. I expect I’ll be reaching for the long skinny bins the most for fruit and veggies due to the drainage tray and the small ones for grapes and berries.
