Reasons I like this more than my Dyson v7 animal which recently broke: 1- glides much easier on both hardwood and carpet 2- about the same size dust collection chamber 3- the light is actually really helpful 4- no wall mount needed. As you can see my 4 year old enjoys vacuuming I’m not sure how great the battery life is because I run my Eufy robot vac at least once a day. So I use this mainly around the cats litter box or in more concentrated areas if they get dirty etc. My robot vac does the general daily cleaning. The power boost is also handy, but will drain the battery a lot quicker than leaving it on its standard suction. “Big vacuum power in small package!! Let me start by saying this isn’t my first Shark vacuum, it is actually the third in my house. The other two are a larger format that I thought were more powerful….thought being the key word. One of the images I included is a short video of my using this Shark cordless vacuum on one of my carpets that is loaded up with the hair from my Corgi puppy. The results amazed me as you will see this little cordless vacuum knock out the hard task without slowing down. Count me as impressed because this did better than the other Shark vacuums and another top Shark competitor vacuum. Ok, so it passed the test on quality. Now the functionality to allow this to convert to a hand vacuum, ability to auto adjust for both hardwoods and carpet (impactful in my house), include HEPA filter for allergies and be rechargeable + lightweight. “Changes Everything. To start, the name. Unless you have never watched TV, you are very familiar with name, and its great reputation. So seeing the name, and then the packaging, you have a good feeling going in. I am guilty of not reading some instructions, so I pushed buttons to see what they did, and everything is clever, and easy. When it came to the battery, I immediately looked for the instructions, as to not ruin anything. The charge took about 3 hours, and to me, a long time charging a lithium battery = long time running. I must be getting old, because I couldn’t wait to try it out. There are so many good things about this, from it folding down to the size of a small trash can ( see last pic ) to the suction power, but above all, is it is cordless. I never realized how restraining the cord is, and what a hassle my old long cord was. I have to laugh every-time I reached/reach for the “ghost cord” I’m a creature of habit indeed, and it is freeing. My vid gives you an idea of noise. I did have the mic right near it, and it’s not loud so much as different. You can also hear how it gets real quiet, when it gets on the hard floor. It automatically senses, and adjust accordingly to the surface. You also hear the booster in action. The attachments turn it into a hand held vac. Between that, and the folding to store, it’s design is ingenious. Double HEPA filters, and ultra light, I can’t say enough good things. Update: We are really enjoying just how HANDY it is ! As you can see, the handle folds down, but unlike every other, this one has the main housing on top, instead of below, so it will unlock all the other hand held options. This is going in the kitchen closet, and will take it with us RVing. I am using about everyday, it’s so quick to just give it a run, and your done. “It is perfect for as a “broom”. This vacuum is perfect for vacuuming the house fast and well. It is better than sweeping the floor with a broom. The stick goes very low towards the floor so you can vacuum under most furniture. It moves swiftly and sucks dust, dirt, and hairs really well.
