“Good tools are fun to use. This might be my favorite tool I’ve ever bought. With 3 kids, I’m always changing the batteries on something with a tiny set screw. This driver legitimately makes it fun and I still get a little giddy every time I pull it out. Just enough torque to snug a screw without stripping it out. Every bit you could ever need. Feels solid, but sleek. Super easy charging with the ever ubiquitous USB C port. The aluminum case is the second coolest part of the driver and matches perfectly with the premium feel of the actual screwdriver. My friend saw me pull it out and immediately bought his own.” – Adam (Source: Amazon)
“It managed to surprise me. Truly amazing. A very high-quality product with a great design. It has everything you need for microelectronics and other small DIY projects. It comes with tweezers and a double-ended spatula with both blunt and pointed tips. I was really surprised by the weight and quality of the product; it’s made with very good materials. The screwdriver is rechargeable via USB-C. There’s a newer model with dual speeds, but I like this one, and it’s all I need. The torque is perfect for small jobs. It has a built-in light that illuminates before you start tightening. The cordless electric screwdriver comes with two speeds and a manual mode. I’ve been using it for a few days now, and I haven’t needed to recharge it yet. It comes with multiple bits, including some required for disassembling certain types of pneumatic drills or small handheld vacuums like those from Hewlett-Packard. It can even be used to disassemble cameras. Inside the assembly box there is a small magnetization and demagnetization chamber.” – John Camacho (Source: Amazon)
“A tank of a kit! Highly recommended. I saw it online and had some doubts due to the price tag, but after receiving it I can say that the high price tag is justifiable – this kit is built like a tank! Amazon currently offers this item in a bundle that contains both the E1 MAX Electric Precision Screwdriver and the X5 Max Manual Precision Screwdriver Set, which is what I got since it’s in a more reasonable price than buying them separately. I highly recommend to buy them in this bundle, especially if you’re located outside of the US where you have to pay shipping and import taxes. As you can see from the attached picture, both enclosures are in the same size and they sit nicely next to each other – you really can’t go wrong with this bundle as there are tasks for an electric screwdriver and tasks for a manual one, so this bundle covers you from both directions. I didn’t rate the battery life as I just got it. Though, by the build quality I’m pretty sure that the battery is very good. It comes semi-charged so I recommend to give it a full charge into the night when you first get it. Highlights: 1. The overall build quality is tough and well made. 2. The magnetic force of the bits, the case and the inner shaft of the screwdriver for holding the bits is strong and everything stays in place, even when you shake it. 3. The screwdriver has a modern USB type-c for charging which is very common nowadays (note that I actually tried the provided USB cable with my phone for transfering these pictures to my computer, but it only charged it. So I guess this particular cable is only for charging). 4. The screwdriver has 2 modes – low and high, and the motor seems very strong; you can’t interfere and stop it by hand – exactly the strength I was after for screwing screws into my 3d printed parts. 5. The spring patent where the inner container can pop-out from the outer enclosure is very neat! When you’re done, you just slide it in again, give it a push until it clicks, and then you just insert the screwdriver in and gently push its end until a magnet captures it from the inside for a nice flush storing. Bottom line: Highly recommended.” – Sunshine (Source: Amazon)
“Best mini powered screwdriver ever. Pros: The battery lasts a good while. It has plenty of torque for most small electronics devices. I use it at work to repair Chromebooks and laptops. It has plenty of torque to remove screws, and just enough not to over torque screws when putting them back in. Chrome book bottom covers tend to crack if you over torque the screws. The magnetization on the bits are great for tiny screws. You don’t loose them after they come out as easy, and putting them back is so much faster with a magnetized screwdriver bit. This case has a spot to magnetize and demagnetize the tips. This is probably my 3rd or 4th power mini screwdriver and so far I like it the best. It out preforms all others I’ve tried. Also it all fits in the tiny little aluminum container. The bits are kept on via magnets too, so they are easier to take off and put back away after use. None of those plastic sleeves that you need pliers to remove the bits. Cons: The whole case is aluminum, and the bits are held on with magnets. You need to watch out what you set it down next to. The magnets will erase magnetic strips on credit cards, and hotel room door key cards. If you set it down next to a laptop, it could trigger the monitor shut off, or hibernation feature on your laptop or chrome book. The screwdriver will not slide out unless you press on the outer edges to release the whole thing. This is great when carrying it, but if you want to just use the screwdriver and not the bits for a flashlight, or anything else, you have to be careful pulling it out. Also, be careful taking it out because if you turn it over and let gravity take it out, the bits will let go of the magnets and go everywhere. Just try not to drop it when it’s open. One last gotcha, it has a magnetizer on it, but it doesn’t work at all. I had to use my own magnetizer.” – Kevin (Source: Amazon)
“Great travel electronic screwdriver. Very high quality electronic screwdriver. The price is just unbelievable considering other screwdrivers in this same price range are not electric. Great selection of bits and the Hi / Low / Lock selector gives a huge variety of functionality. Very easy to take out of the container and the size makes it so portable.” – Jonathan Mitchum (Source: Amazon)
“Easy to access accessories! I have several tools that I use for electronics. However, the issue with most of them is that the accessories are hard to remove from the plastic mold. This solves that issue. Everything is attached to the center column via magnet force only. Easy to swap out heads and a clean elegant look at the same time. Never look for another head again. Amazing product. Wish I had bought it earlier.” – TBFamily (Source: Amazon)
“Great quality electric screwdriver for the price. It has a great quality full metal chassis. The small driver body provides a nice, comfortable grip. However, its relatively low torque output makes it well-suited for delicate electronic devices like phones and laptops, rather than heavy-duty applications.” – Chilly Chip (Source: Amazon)
“Great tool. Absolutely love this screwdriver. It is for low torque applications so not a full replacement for an ifixit kit, but a great alternative for low torque work. Absolutely love pulling this out!” – Charles (Source: Amazon)
“This Thing is Cool! I’m a PC technician and I do a ton of installs and I am constantly needing to use screw drivers and I love this thing. This is the coolest screw driver I’ve ever bought. It all fits in this cube, the cube is spring loaded and everything pops out. And it comes with a ton of different bits so you have pretty much exactly what you will ever need. My only concern is my coworkers are going to swipe this from me. I wish it was a variable speed trigger but it does have a high and low switch which slows it down marginally but nothing too noticeable. It feels great in your hand and I’d have to say for a precision device this works well.” – Craig W. (Source: Amazon)
“Work of Art or a Tool. I had to do a double take. Regardless this is one nice screwdriver A++ Super nice. I am not often at a loss for words when it comes to tools but this one had me scratching my head for all the right reasons. I seriously had it open was like is this art, and prop for a StarWars film getting ready to drop bombs, or a screwdriver. It took me a minute to refocus it was a screwdriver and a seriously full featured one at that. I am not going to waste a sec talking about negatives because this thing really doesn’t have any. Sure it might struggle on a solid rusted screw but come on, really. Dual power setting on the screwdriver is actually nice because when you are dealing with screws this small you can very easily over torque or strip so this gives some flex where flex is needed. Also funny that I kept finding neat little features as I messed with this like magnetize and demagnetize bits. I also laughed initially thinking dam these little bits are a PITA to pull out but quickly caught the genius this case/holder is in that you just press the bit tip in to release from the magnetic retainer. Awesome and so well designed. I could go on and on with just positives but will leave it that this has now replaced my Wiha roll up kit and a small self contained holder and I am ecstatic beyond words. A++” – Chester County (Source: Amazon)
“Compact and handy screwdriver set. This screwdriver set is one of my favorites. It is compact and handy. I tend to build small form factor PC’s and use this daily. It comes with more drill bits than I normally use but can be used for numerous things around the house. It even has the triangle bits that certain handhelds use. The battery life is great and lasts me days on end. And it charges fairly fast. I can plug it in for 15 minutes and by the time I refill my coffee, I have enough battery life to last the rest of the day. One thing that I would prefer is more torque options. It has the 2 built-in settings that sometimes are not strong enough for pre-built PC case screws. Working on repairing some mfg over torqued pre-builds means that I would have to revert to the middle setting and manually loosen the screws first. Not a big deal, but just an extra step.” – SK (Source: Amazon)
“A MUST-HAVE tool! This FANTtik tool is FANTastic! (pun intended…..) I hate how so many electronic gadgets have super small and/or specialized screws. This tool includes many of the bits for them and houses them all in one place! Plus it’s lightweight and VERY easy to use. If you work on glasses, phones, computers, cameras, electronic toys, etc., then this is a must-have tool. You won’t go wrong getting this! One tip: The screwdriver needs to be in the base when charging it. I just plugged it in by itself and initially frustrated that my was broke right out of the box. Then I realized the error of my ways and it worked great! If I give it any negative (which is minor), it would be nice to have a place to house the charging cord so I don’t have to go look for it (or lose it!).” – Steve S. (Source: Amazon)
“Convenient and handy. This driver set has been very useful around the house on smaller electronics that you wouldn’t want to use a drill on. The case conveniently stores both the driver and the bits inside it’s 2″ x 2″ x 7″ frame with the aide of magnets. For such a small package it has quite a bit of variety when it comes to the bits that are mostly suited on smaller items like toys, clocks, ect. The driver is usb-c rechargeable and features a High and Low speed setting, although I honestly can’t feel the difference between the two in either speed or torque. Overall it’s a great tool set to keep around the house!” – Presley202 (Source: Amazon)
“The coolest set of screwdriver in my toolbox. Well, this is cool. All metal case with magnets everywhere. Push the end and both battery operated screw driver and the bit case pops right out. This must have came out of a James Bond movie. All the bits are held on by magnets. They even built in a slot to push the bits in so you can grab the end that pops out. This is by far one of my favorite tools.” – Frankie E. White (Source: Amazon)
“A superior miniature electric screwdriver set. Outstanding design and functionality. Two speeds, forward and reversible, well-designed slim, compact and sturdy self-contained carrying metal case, great variety of magnetic bits, easy to hold and maneuver driver. Perfect for electronics projects and other miniature fastener applications. We will be using this to assemble a robotic dog kit. Can’t wait. It’s the perfect solution and a must have for projects like this and many others! Great price so especially after coupon!” – LH (Source: Amazon)
“Slick! What a great gadget in a clever container! Perfect for computer/camera/electronic repair. Forward/reverse function with 2 torque settings and an LED light on the end, plus the holster has just about every bit you could generally need and then some. Very impressed and happy to not be struggling with tiny manual screwdrivers all the time.” – B. Hashimoto (Source: Amazon)
